After our bus tour, we decided to go explore another neighborhood of Lima, and find some lunch. Just south of Miraflores is Barranco. According to the guide book, Barranco was an upscale resort community in the early 1900s, bohemian hub in the 1960s, and is now scattered with trendy restaurants and bars. We decided to go find out for ourselves.
The guidebook recommended a hole in the wall that served great ceviche. It was correct on both accounts.
The food was amazing and we had a great time attempting to chat with our server, I'm gonna say he enjoyed it too.
The neighborhood of Borronco didn't seem particularly interesting to either of us, so after a short walk, we hopped in a cab back to Miraflores.
